“The tour of Monserrat was wonderful and lunch at the winery was fine but it would have been better to have more time in Monserrat and less time at the winery. Our tour guide Lesly was very good but the wines offered at the winery tasting were low end wines and not very good. Not much to see or do at the winery. Would not recommend the winery portion of the tour. Also if you go in Jan the funicular was closed for servicing at Montserrat which was disappointing.”

The river cruise was good and afterwards we strolled along the river bank and found a great restaurant selling genuine Portuguese cuisine (yellow building easy to spot) had a great supper then walked up to the square by metal bridge to get a cab back to our hotel.
