The staff in Magic tours office were very helpful and suggested we take the cable car ride to save walking all the way to the cruise boat. The river cruise was good and afterwards we strolled along the river bank and found a great restaurant selling genuine Portuguese cuisine (yellow building easy to spot) had a great supper then walked up to the square by metal bridge to get a cab back to our hotel.
